Spring Break- Part 1

My family drove down from Ohio on March 18 for Spring Break in the Sunshine State. The fun part was my Grandma Peel from Farmington came too so we had a real party! They drove straight through the night so they were pretty tired once they got here, but excited about warm weather.  The first night, we took them to Tarpon Springs to Sunset beach to watch the sunset, of course. :)  The tide was really really low so the sand was all mucky but this beach doesn't really have the best sand to begin with.  Oh my gosh, the sunset was sooo gorgeous. I love how when the sun sets it just kind of melts into the sea.  And Florida seems to know how to make the sky turn the most beautiful colors as it's going down.  Maybe someday we'll be able to get up early enough to watch the sun rise...but we're not really early risers over here! Here are my boys and Jason and Kyle spelling out Ohio.  Tyler ended up being the "i" since he wouldn't cooperate doing anything else....we told him to just stand there, and he could handle that.

 A bird pooped on my dad's arm, haha! It was funny because he didn't even know it until he looked down and was like "what happened here!"

 Sooo pretty! The ocean is so calm near Tampa since it's the gulf of Mexico side of Florida. I love the peacefulness!

 Saturday we spent at Clearwater Beach and it was wonderful. Clearwater is seriously the best beach minus the fact that everyone thinks so. It gets sooo crowded! But we went early and got a good spot and just hung out all day. I loved having Kyle here to dig in the sand with Brayden and Tyler.  I think he was as into it as they were!

 Guy and Jason went parasailing over the water. Thanks dad for letting them both do this. I know they had a great time!!!

And this is a picture of everyone watching the BYU basketball game. I didn't get a picture but there were times when every single person was up jumping around and yelling at the TV. Gotta love march madness! :)
