We had a pretty fun, low key weekend. On Saturday we woke up early and did our usual Saturday morning garage sales. I should really do a post on all the cool stuff we've been finding. Guy found this set of over 100 real race cars for Brayden for $5. Guy makes me laugh because he gets so excited when he finds stuff like this that he can't wait to give it to him. I keep telling him we should save things like this for Christmas or birthdays, but he can't wait that long! Brayden, of course, is in heaven and even found the Daytona 500 car in the mix. He recognized the logo from our trip there awhile ago. I'm not sure what we're going to do with so many cars around here but both Brayden and Guy inform me these are different from hot wheels cars. Much cooler!
After garage sales I had an eye appointment, which was not so fun, but afterwards we went out and did a little Florida exploring, which is always fun :)
We drove past Clearwater to St. Petersburg and to a beach called Treasure Island, that we heard was cool. We didn't stay very long, but the boys seemed to like it. Treasure Island was not that great compared to some other beaches we've been to so we probably won't be ever go back. But the funny part was Brayden was convinced there really was treasure there since it had to called Treasure Island for a reason. He spent the whole time following trails and digging for gold and jewels. He was disappointed he couldn't find any but we did find a shark tooth, which is a treasure to us!
This is his treasure hole that Guy helped him with. It got pretty deep by the end!
After the beach we drove over the Skyway bridge which was really cool. It's really a pretty stunning bridge in person.
And I just thought these were cute. Here are the boys working on their pull ups....or more like their hanging like a monkey skills! It's sad, but I look just like them when I attempt a pull up :)
