So I just found out yesterday that I have Graves disease. After about a million tests it seems like, I'm just glad they actually found something. And it sounds pretty manageable so I'm happy about that. I had no idea what it was when the doctor told me but basically it has to do with my thyroid being overactive. They're not sure if thats whats causing all my joint pain but hopefully once all my levels are back to normal it will just go away. I guess from here I'll find out if I need surgery to remove my thyroid or if I can go the easier way and take some radioactive iodine pills that will kill it off. I'm hoping for the second one cause surgery just scares me!! After that I'll just have to take a pill every day for the rest of my life to make up for what a normal thryoid should be doing. I'm just excited to have the hope of starting to feel better soon. It's been a long time since I've had energy and felt normal! So thats the health update

San Antonio

Sorry its been forever since I've been on here... first our internet wasn't working and now the computer. It's always something, right? Well, for Memorial weekend we went to San Antonio with my Aunt and Uncle and had a blast! It was sooo much fun! We went back to Sea World (even though we were just there in March!) The San Antonio one is a little different then the Orlando one... it has a water park which was great! Brayden loved swimming!! The kid seriously has no fear in the water. He was a maniac, walking all over the place. It was hilarious! On Saturday night, Brayden stayed with my aunt and uncle at the hotel and Guy and I got to head out alone. Yes... alone!! It's been forever since that happened! We went down to the riverwalk in San Antonio and it was seriously the coolest thing EVER!!! It's like an underground little world! You basically just head down from the streets of the city and theres a river with restraunts and shops on both sides that you can walk along. We went at night so it was cool to see it all lit up. We had dinner right by the river at a really good mexican place and then took a boat tour. I had never heard of it before this trip but seriously everyone should go there someday. So that was our fun weekend here... back to the real world now :(Tuesday, May 15, 2007
Brayden's 1st Birthday!
Brayden absolutely loves the show Blues Clues right now so we had balloons and decorations to go along with that. He just started walking a day before his birthday so thats been fun. We made such a big deal, yelling and clapping, when he first started walking that now he walks across the room and looks around like "hello, I'm walking here...where's all the noise?" It's so funny! Ellie and Brayden get along really good and had tons of fun playing with all the new toys.

Disney World
My sister Kelly is a huge disney princess fan! It's so cute cause she's 17, but those disney princesses just bring out the little girl in her!! Brayden was a fan of the 'Its a small world' ride at magic kingdom. He was so cute there and such a good boy. All in all, it was a fun trip...can't go wrong with a trip to Disney World!
