When I asked him what he thought he was doing he said, "Just decorating for when Grandma comes!" Hard to get mad at him with a reason like that! And almost impossible to keep a straight face and stay mad when his face looks like that!
Even after a long soak in the tub we could not get all the marker off his face so he'll be sporting a few colorful "tattoos" I guess. I'm just glad it wasn't a permanent marker! I'm getting a little nervous to soon have 2 mischievous boys... I can only imagine the trouble they will get into together!
My mom left today! :( She has been staying with us the last week to help out with the new baby and with Brayden and we miss her so much! It was a rough day without her, but we survived. I think I'll get the hang of having 2 kids eventually! Thank you SO much for everything mom! It was so nice to have you here and Brayden is missing you like crazy today! Not sure if anyone else has ever seen the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds", but it was one of those movies that freaked me out when I saw it. I've discovered that living here in Texas this time of year feels like I am right in the middle of that movie. I guess these birds are called grackles and they are seriously everywhere. They are so loud and annoying! I realize I live in the South, but I just wish they would fly more South for the winter! I took these pictures from the car yesterday a few blocks from our house! They don't really portray how many birds there really are, but it was the best I could do! Trust me, its kinda freaky!
