Snow....

I've been feeling kinda crummy today so BB has been pretty much entertaining himself...which is never a good idea!Apparently he needed some toilet paper after going potty and 1 or 2 squares turned into 4 rolls of snow in his room He informed me that it is also his ghost costume
And now we get to have nice white tp mountains by each of our toilets until we use it all up...
Thanks Brayden

Happy Bday Papa Gigo!

And now to complete the ultimate birthday month, we just want to wish my dad a big, fat
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!I seriously feel so lucky to have such a great dad! He is so special to me and I'm not sure that is something that I tell him enough...
First of all, you win the super grandpa award! I secretly love watching you with Brayden and Tyler because I think you are just so cute with them. I remember when you came to visit last year for one of your business trips and BB just cried looking out the window and watching you drive away. He still talks about when you came and brought him the "buckeye player!"
I also just love the fact that I made you become a Grandpa!! Sometimes its good to be the oldest! :) You are also responsible for Brayden's nickname BB (buckeye brayden)! I always thought naming him Brayden that we would call him Brady but BB is what stuck! And I love it. It used to be funny when he was younger because he really thought that BB was his name since we never called him brayden. People would always look at us SO weird! :)
I used to think it was cute how you would have a "boys" club with JJ and Kyle when they were younger and how you guys would have secret meetings in your closet.
It's been true my whole life...if you wanted to have fun then you were the one to hang out with. You always came up with such fun things to do! Seriously best times were when mom would be out of town because we knew we were just gonna party the whole time she was gone and not have to clean the house until the night before she got back! :)
You always took us on the coolest vacations growing up...yes, I know when I was a teenager I wasn't always jumping for joy that we were visiting yet another national park or monument but I appreciate it so much now. I can remember sitting in my american heritage class freshman year and just thinking to myself,"wow, I've been there and there and there!" It was cool to be learning about places that I had actually been. I also loved how no matter what we always tried to go somewhere as a family every year even if it was just camping close to home. We made some great memories!
You always can find the most fun games to play as a family and you are seriously so good at interpreting and explaining the directions to the rest of us! haha remember Arkansas mom when we tried to play that game without dad and we finally gave up because neither of us could understand it. And I used to love how when you would win a game you would post that you were the #1 winner on the fridge and gloat about it for weeks! :) I love your coupon shopping and how you would come home with like bags and bags of stuff and you would spread it all out on the table and have us all guess how much you got it for. And it was amazing cause you'd have like 15 items you got for like $5! I love how you tease mom that she is so much older then you when in reality she is only 11 days older!
I love how you have always put family first. No matter what you always made time for us and supported us in whatever we wanted to do. You endured many long dance recitals and boring track meets for me! :)
You can ALWAYS make me laugh...even when some of your jokes are a little corny! Also remember our "punching" game. haha good times.
You make the best pancakes ever... especially camping ones. I need to be taught the secret!
Happy Birthday Dad!
We all love you so much over here and hope you have a great day!
We miss you TONS!

Fun Times

I LOVE summer cause there is always so much fun stuff to do with kids! We've been having a fun week so far and are trying to have lots of fun before a) it gets way too hot that all you can do is swim or stay inside and b) before all the kids get out of school and everything gets crowded during the day! So we've been to the zoo, parks, the pool...its only wednesday and I'm exhausted. I think we'll spend the next few days home! :)
Here's the boys at the zoo looking at the rhinos...
Just had to share that this is the cutest elephant I have ever seen. Look at his hair...its like he's wearing a little wig!!! I love it!
Tyler was so happy just chillin in the stroller all day at the zoo But we definately wore him out and he slept like this when we got home for hours! Funny kid!
We finally tested out the pool in our neighborhood...Love that there's a baby pool so I don't have to get in if I don't want to!!
And Ty looking cute in his new swimsuit from Great Grandma Peel... we'll see if he likes the pool later this summer when he's a little older! :)

It was a PARTY!

Brayden loves lightning mcqueen from the Disney movie Cars so we thought we'd have a lightning party this year!
Brayden was so surprised when he woke up and saw the downstairs decorated like this and a new basketball hoop (Guy's amazing $4 garage sale find!)We went out to lunch with Stacy and Ellie and found a fun place to play afterwards
It even had a life size checker game which was kinda coolOnce daddy came home from work it was time to really party. Tyler was all ready!!Brayden had been waiting all day to open presents so he couldn't wait any longer! He got lots of fun stuff
Me taking pictures on my phone of the birthday boy
Whats inside the big box?
A new lightning mcqueen bike!!
He couldn't wait to try it out
And he actually did really well for the first time!
Check it out...

After presents we went out to dinner and ate at buca di beppo. Brayden had cheese pizza and then they surprised him with these huge candles to blow out while everyone in the restraunt sang him happy birthday. It was pretty funny!
He was pretty proud to have blown out such big candles on his own! And take a look at this huge cake they gave him. It was seriously the best cake I have ever tasted! He couldn't even wait until I gave him a fork...he just dug in with his fingers!
So after we stuffed ourselves there we went back home and....
did the same thing all over again with our own cake! He had a Cars ice cream cake which was also so yummy!
You can never have too much cake on your birthday when your 3!
We even let Tyler try a little frosting so he wouldn't feel left out
He LOVED it!
We finished off the birthday with a family basketball tournamentBrayden loves to slam dunk it! It was a great birthday and it was fun to see Brayden so excited and happy!

It's good to be 3!

3 monther

Just wanted to document our little chubster at 3 months old
Take a look at that belly
And those cheeks! :)
We are loving how much he smiling and talking lately! We've even discovered that he is super ticklish and will laugh so hard if you can find the right spot (under the double chin is usually the best one!) He's also starting to grab at toys which is fun and he's starting to get some blonde fuzz on his head. I love how much babies grow and change at this stage!!
