all through the house....
Outside...
through the fence...
through Daddy's car....
In the garage...
And eventually found his basket in the dryer!
Guy (a.k.a. Easter bunny) found this huge dump truck for a dollar at a garage sale earlier in the month so we thought it would be a fun Easter basket for Brayden this year :)
Working on a tough puzzle
And Tyler.....
Well he woke up a little too grouchy to think this was a fun idea.
But once he got that Easter basket life was good again!
Bubbles make him happy, and I must say the no-spill bubble holders make me soo happy! He can do it all by himself and it never spills!
His very own chocolate bunny
We tried taking a few pictures before church of the boys all dressed up, which is always a hard task. Tyler would only do it if he could hold his ball and not have anyone touching him! These are the best we got. I have no idea why Brayden's hands are in the air but at least they are both looking at the camera :) Success!
After church we had a yummy Easter dinner and then had a quick FHE and talked with Brayden about what Easter is really about. We watched the Easter video on lds.org and then ended up watching the mormon messages videos for about an hour. Every time we finished one, Brayden would click on another one. It really was a nice way to spend the afternoon and the spirit was so strong in our home. I could tell how much each of messages in the videos were touching Brayden and I just felt grateful. Grateful to be a member of the church, grateful to have a family and to be a mommy, and so grateful for our Savior who gave his life for us.
We had a quick egg hunt after Tyler woke up from his nap. We had planned on doing it outside but it started to rain so we moved it to the Family room.
Look at all those eggs! This was one of my favorite Easters. The only thing that would have made it better was to be with our families. We missed everyone SO much!
