Potty Training and Stuff

It's potty training week over here and yesterday was day 1 of it. Brayden did really great all day so I think he'll get the hang of it. We've still gotta work on nights though. We'll see how the rest of the week goes! I'm getting excited to only have 1 in diapers! :)
Ty mesmerized by his mobile
Here's Tyler sitting up like a big boy in his bumbo seat. BB calls it his dumbo!
We went to the zoo this last weekend and had a great time. The highlight was feeding the birds seed sticks.
They even got a bird to sit on their stick while it was eating the seeds!
Brayden told us he liked the yellow birds the best
At the mountain goat exhibit-it was kind of a freaky looking thing!
The hippos were cracking us up cause they had water squirting into their cage and they kept trying to get it into their mouths!

Brayden the Photographer

So we were bored the other day and I was taking pics of Tyler trying to get him to smile-its so hard to catch on camera! Anyways, Brayden was asking me how I took pictures with the camera so I showed him what button to push and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. So since I really don't care too much about my camera (I secretly want to get a really nice one someday...) I let him take it and take some pictures. Gotta love digital! It was pretty funny to see the things that he thought were picture-worthy around our house! Of course he got lots of his little brother and other random things. It really made me laugh when he started getting his books down and taking pictures of his favorite pages! I won't share all the pictures he took of the ceiling and carpet and walls but here's a few of his photography masterpieces before I delete them off my camera! ;)

Happy Birthday little sis!

Happy 19th Birthday Kelly!

I wish I was closer so I could celebrate it with ya but we'll have to party when you come out here in June! I seriously can't wait! Even though its been a whole year since I've seen you, here are some of the things that always remind me of you.

-Disney princesses- I love how they bring out the little girl in you still! I absolutely love going to Disney world with you because you make it so much fun. Especially how we always stalk the cute little girls wearing princess dresses around the park...I totally need a girl so we don't have to do that anymore!
-Donatos pepperoni pizza- We always had to persuade mom and dad to let us get it cause it was so much more expensive but so good! Remember we used to order it and then get mad at Jason and Kyle for wanting some because they didn't even like pepperoni! We got mean when we had to share it with others!
-Volleyball- You were so freakin' awesome at volleyball. It was so much fun to watch you in action back in the day!
-Coloring books- You are my ultimate coloring partner. Another Florida memory I will always have! Remember when we let Guy join in when we had the coloring contest and then we realized he was better then us so we kicked him out. And dad thought that kyle had colored mine (no offense kyle!) So funny!
-Olive Garden-BB throwing breadsticks across the restaurant! haha. The funniest day ever! -Harry Potter- I still remember when you dressed up with your friends and went to the midnight showing! And I love how you have read the books like a million times

-You, me, and Mel turning on music and dancing in the family room and each of us trying to do the coolest things so mom and dad would watch us! haha. And practicing gymnastics in the backyard! :)

-Texting- I love that we can keep in touch this way and that you always send me random texts just to see what I'm up to today. It means a lot of me! :)
-guitar hero- you are amazing! I always think I'm sorta good until I see you or JJ play it. At least its the one thing I can beat Guy in!
-your liberty bell- do you still have that thing? I remember dad brought it home for you from a trip and I love that home video of you ringing that annoying thing the whole time! Especially all in Jason's face cause he was just a baby! Good times! I tried to find a picture of it online and I think this is it, right??
-The other absolute best home video is of you doing that "open up the barnyard..." cheer when you were like 4 years old at Grandma Richardson's house! It's funny cause I still remember all the words to it and I can't think about it without smiling! "open up the barnyard, kick out the hay. We're the girls from the USA..." haha!

-I love that we love all the same TV shows and we would always stay up super late watching all of them together.

-Homies-you know what I'm talking about! I've looked for them everywhere so I could send them in the mail to you like you used to when I was in college but I can't find them anywhere! So sad...but they will always make me think of you and laugh cause we were always eachothers homies! -Making brownies and cookies and just eating the batter and dough and not even cooking them.

-"Kelly Belly loves Telly" :) You used to hate that!

-chipotle burritos and how much you love them. haha and the time you and your friends dressed up like burritos to get a free one.
OK, well I could probably go on forever so I will stop there! I love you and I hope you have a great day today! Thanks for always being such a great sister and enjoy your last year as a "teen!" :)

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter!
We had such a fun Easter Weekend. We started it off by heading to an Easter egg-stravaganza on Saturday morning where Brayden got to do an easter egg hunt along with lots of other activities!
Meeting the Easter Bunny!
He got to check out this cool fire truck up close!
This was the field of eggs for his age group! Lots to grab!
He was so excited to get going!
Here he is after with all of his eggs!
On Saturday night we decided we better dye some easter eggs before easter. Brayden loved coloring on them with the white crayon before he put them in
Workin' on a few eggs at once
Look at all our eggs!
Brayden woke up Easter morning very excited to see if the Easter bunny had come. He did a great job finding his Easter basket and he helped Tyler find his too! Here he is collecting all the eggs that the Easter bunny hid around the house!
Lookin' pretty cool
Little Ty is the perfect size!
All dressed up for church
Looking so handsome in their Easter clothes
Me and the boys
Guy and the boys
This is the best we could do for a family shot all by ourselves!
At night we went and had dinner at the Southwicks and Brayden went on another egg hunt with his best buddy! He will sure miss her when they move this summer :(

Easter Cards

I wanted to have Brayden make some easter cards that we could send to family this year so I found this idea that was really easy and fun!

We used this multicolored stamp pad

And Brayden made thumb prints with all the colors

Then we decorated his thumbprints like easter eggs

And turned 2 of them on the front into little easter bunnies! We're sending them off in the mail today!

Can't believe its almost Easter!
