Valentines Day

 I love Valentine's day! I didn't get a chance this year to make Valentine's with the boys or do my hanging hearts outside their room with things I love about them, (due to our crazy move and Ty's birthday) but there is always next year. I found a few fun Valentine's surprises (thank you dollar store) and some candy to make their morning fun. I love these boys with all my heart!

 Of course Tyler was in one of his moods that morning at first.......

Until he realized there were m+m's and he instantly became happy!

 I bought this knight dress up set at the dollar store during Halloween time and gave it to Brayden for V-Day. He absolutely loved it! Next year I need to buy another one so Tyler can have some armor too. Trust me he needs it the way these boys sword fight!!!

SNOW in TX and Valentines Day

SNOW in TEXAS! I know, its crazy huh! This happened a little over a week ago here (Feb. 11) and it was so fun! Texas never gets snow like this and it ended up being 12.5 inches total which broke all the records for the most snow ever at one time. It was SO pretty and it was fun because everyone was out enjoying it. It seems like every yard had a snowman in it! :) I love snow but I hate when it sticks around forever so it was the perfect kind of snowfall. It snowed all day thursday, stuck around friday, and then by late Saturday morning it had all melted. The crazy thing is we are maybe going to get a little more snow this week on tuesday! If it snows only 2 more inches it will be the most snow ever in a winter in Dallas. I'm telling you, this has been a crazy winter here.

And then we had snow inside too! My mom sent Ty's birthday present in a box with all these packing peanuts and the boys both had fun pretending it was snow

And then when they were all done with the snow, guess who had to clean it all up?? We gave Tyler Brayden's old bike for his birthday...I know, we're cheap but I figured it was new to him so it worked! The boys had fun taking turns pushing and riding on it.

I'm hoping Tyler will figure out walking by pushing this around. My back is breaking!

We had 9:00 church so it was kind of rushed but still a fun morning. We hung hearts with things we love about Brayden hanging from his door for when he woke up

And since the boys share a room, Ty got the hearts on his crib

I made a trip to the dollar store to make little heart baskets with surprises in them for the boys. Seriously, I love the dollar store by our house...it really has some good stuff! They were pretty excited about it which made me happy :) I LOVE my boys!

Valentines

Since I am due around Valentine's Day, we have been busy doing all our Valentines stuff a little early this year just so we can fit it all in! Brayden loves doing "projects" (as he calls them), so he loved working on his valentines and I loved how long they kept him busy! We'll start putting them in the mail next week! I LOVE being a mom!

It is truly the best job ever! Brayden has been doing the sweetest things lately that just make my heart overflow with love for him! I've been cleaning up the weekend mess all day today and I looked over and he had taken all the clean clothes from the laundry basket and put them on top of the couch. Whenever I fold the laundry I always sit on the couch and fold the clothes into piles and then put them on top of the couch. Anyways, it was such a little thing, but it was just so cute that he was trying so hard to help. And he was soooo proud of himself. Adorable! So of course I had to take a picture! :)

We found this nemo costume at the disney outlet store for $3. Isn't that crazy! He loves the movie Finding Nemo so he thinks its pretty cool... even though he looks kinda angry here. The black eye doesn't help! :)

We're into Curious George over here so Brayden had a monkey Valentines Day!

And now to the present day...

We decorated some valentine cupcakes for friends tonight which of course was a frosting fest for Brayden!
We've been taking lots of walks and runs on the trail behind our apartments. The weather has been great! Brayden just chills in the stroller. Gotta love it!
