What we've been up to!

Well we are all moved into our townhome... Finally! We moved in on friday night and we are just trying to get settled and back to normal. I promise to take pictures and post them on here when we get back from our trip to Oregon next week. Guy's little brother Mike is coming home from his mission in Italy so we are VERY excited to be there for that!

We've been swimming lots because its been so hot here! It's about the only thing you can do if you want to be outside in the summer!
We bought Brayden a floaty suit and it is so great. He just floats around the whole pool all by himself and thinks he's so cool! Perfect thing for a 2 year old that wants to do everything all by himself! :)

The pool is so fun with daddy!

So cute! We've been spending lots of time at Six Flags this summer! The looney tunes characters are so fun!

Riding the merry go round over and over with his superman cape!
So this is why he was being so quiet! :)

Recap of July trip!

So beginning of July we took a trip out to Utah and had so much fun seeing family and friends that we haven't seen in ages! We started out with a family reunion with my mom's side of the family where we stayed close to my grandma's in Farmington and had lots of picnics and just hung out. It was so great to see cousins and finally get to see their cute kids! I wish we all lived closer!

Brayden and I trying to pass a water balloon on the 4th. We weren't a very good team!

Brayden loved the water gun in the water fight!

My went to my Uncle David's Wedding in the Bountiful Temple which was a great experience and Blythe looked beautiful! We're so happy for them!

David and Blythe. ( I realized I didn't get any good shots of them so I had to borrow one off my cousin Laura's blog. Thanks!)

We hung out that night with Jay, Heather, Coleman, Amanda, and little Isaac. Jay and Coleman are Guy's friends since he was little. The boys got to frolf a bit and we all just had fun hanging out and talking. Thanks again Coleman and Amanda for watching Brayden while we were at the wedding!

We also got to see Guy's sister Melissa and her sweet family who are now living in Provo. Brayden cried so hard when he had to leave his cousins. We HAVE to live closer someday!

Hannah, Luke, and Brayden

We then drove to Ponderosa Ranch which is about an hour outside of St. George for the Richardson reunion. It was SO much fun! So fun, that apparently I didn't have time to take any pictures cause this is the only one. :( We're not the best at remembering to take pictures!

After the reunion, we headed to Vegas with my family! We stopped at Hoover Dam first and took a tour which was awesome. It was SO hot though but we survived!

They are building this huge suspension bridge so traffic doesn't have to go over the dam anymore. I think Guy was more fascinated with the construction of that!

We walked around Vegas and looked at all the crazy casinos. I have to admit I did try out the nickel slot machines just cause I had to say I did it once! I was fascinated by some of the tables where the minimum bet was $1000 or more. I can't imagine losing that much in just a few minutes! Who has that kind of money? Anyways, we had a blast as we always do when we tag along with my family on trips!

Of course the highlight for Brayden were the trains at the Bellagio. He could have sat there all day!

My dad and Guy with the blue man group... or maybe just their statues!

We ate at this buffet at MGM that was seriously SO good. My dad says I'm getting old when food becomes a highlight of a trip for me but I just think its cause I'm pregnant! :)

The dessert bar!

This was part of the stage at the Cirque du Soleil KA show at MGM. Not the best picture. It was SO awesome. Thanks Dad for letting us go! :)

Don't Worry!

We are still alive! Just livin a crazy homeless life right now jumping from hotel to hotel! We are moving in August 1st to a new townhome so hopefully life will settle down a bit then! I have a million pictures to post on here but of course the cord to our camera is either packed up or lost in our over stuffed cars. So it'll have to wait! :)

Update time!

So its been awhile since I have posted on here. Life has just been crazy!! We've been doing lots of really fun things this summer so I'll have to post those pictures in a bit. But our latest news is that we are moving... kind of last minute! We've talked for awhile how it would be so nice to have more space but our lease isn't up until December. So we just randomly one day posted our apartment on craigslist, not expecting anyone to really call on it or want it. Turns out someone called a few days later, saw it, liked it, and wanted to move in asap. We were both shocked! But we said OK since we weren't sure this opportunity would come up again. Bad news was they needed to move in July 11 and we are leaving for a week and half long Utah trip on the 2. So, we have had to completely pack up, move out, and clean before we even leave to go out of town. Talk about stressful! So for the last few days we've packed and then on Saturday, Guy completely moved us by himself into a storage unit. First of all, I don't even know how he did it. I'm talking all 3 of our couches, bookshelves, 2 queen size beds, a million boxes.... oh ya, and we live on the 2nd floor. I am like the worst moving partner ever because I am so weak! Never could do a pull up in elementary school and I still can't! No upper arm strength whatsoever so literally Guy did it all. I just carried down the light stuff!

So it was a long day but we were blessed in many small ways such as the storage place had a free moving truck that we thought was already taken for the day but when we showed up they said we could have it. So we only have to pay $4.72 in gas to get our stuff moved. And there were a few really heavy things (Brayden's dresser, bookshelf, etc) that Guy was pretty sure he could get down but not quite sure how he was going to do it, so we saved those for last and literally right when it was time to take those down the missionaries that live in our complex showed up and asked if they could help. Talk about goood timing! :) So we are all moved out and "camping" in our living room right now! Brayden thinks its the best thing ever! Now its just a matter of finding a new place to live. We've already found a few options. but for now we are homeless! But I'm excited to be out of our apartment for good soon. Yay!! :)

Thought I'd throw a few pictures on here of Brayden. He is still in major "choo choo" phase where he literally makes anything and everything into a train. For example...

Macaroni and Cheese at lunch

All his little people toys

And about a million other things that I never took pictures of like all the alphabet magnets on the fridge, all of mommy and daddy's shoes, legos... basically anything that you can set up in a line becomes a choo choo train around here!

Here's a few bath pics. I couldn't post most of them on here due to the full frontal nudity but here were a few cute ones.

Just relaxin

Blowing bubbles!

We tried to go to the fireworks last night but right when we got there it stormed like crazy so we left. I guess they still did the show at 10 but we never saw it! Have to wait until the 4th I guess!
