Ohio-Part 2

Here's the rest of my pictures from our Ohio trip. My sister Melissa was there for part of it and we had SO much fun hanging out with her every day. My brother Jason was in band camp for most of the week and Kelly still had to work lots but we did manage to all go to zoomkbezi bay water park one day which was really fun. Here's a few pics of some of what we did:

This is the castle park in upper arlington that my grandma used to take us to all the time when we were little. Like a year ago, melissa and tried to find it and couldn't but this time we were successful and we were so excited to play on it!! Many good hide and seek tag games were played here back in the day! :) Melissa, Kyle, BB, and Eddie the dog. We took him with us and he loved it!
Ty was a happy little guy just hanging out in his stroller
And Brayden was really good at hanging just like his monkey blackie
Eddie and Kyle

Hello down there!
Lissa and Ty
All of us with a timed shot on the camera...not bad :)
Me, Kyle, and the boys all went on a tour of the anthony thomas candy factory and it was so cool. They were making buckeyes that day and it was cool to see how it was done...plus you got a free buckeye candy for going on the tour which is so worth it!!
This is a 235 pound chocolate buckeye. Gross! That is so much chocolate! It's only $3500 to buy!
Ty lost in the middle of Kyle's huge stuffed animal collection
Flying Eddie
Kyle and BB swimming
And Ty likes to swim too but he was happier rolling around on a towel in the shade
We went to the columbus zoo twice and had so much fun. I love this zoo!
They had a baby elephant that was the same age as Tyler. It was SO cute!
I thought Ty was asleep but then I looked down and saw this peeking out! Made me laugh
Brayden was excited to see Fluffy the snake. He saw a picture of him at the airport!
He looks a little scared, don't you think!
Just taking a little rest real quick
Riding on the train
Sweaty little Ty

So thats the rest of our Ohio trip. We had a blast and we miss everyone there so much! It was so fun to get to stay so long and spend so much time with everybody! Good thing we'll be back at Christmas!! :) Can't wait!

Having some FUN!

Here's some pics of what we've been up to lately
...well the fun stuff that is.
We went to the aquarium in Dallas last week with our two favorite chicas and had SO much fun! We got to see manatees, sharks, and lots of other really cool animals. They had so much more there then just fish!
The whole place was really well done and it felt like you were really walking through a rainforest!
Only bad part was all the preschool groups there on field trips that day. Talk about annoying and loud!
Not the best picture, but they had this shark tunnel where you walk in and sharks are swimming above and all around you. It was awesome! We had been talking about it all day and I think Brayden was a little nervous cause it sounded kinda of scary to a 3 year old. But once he saw what it was, he LOVED it! We even got to watch them feed the sharks which was pretty cool.
We got to go to a rough riders baseball game which was really fun! I wanted to take this pic before we left cause they boys looked so cute matching...and I have to say it is easier to get my 5 month old baby to smile then my 3 year old. It was a struggle to get him to even look at the camera! Here's me and Ty before it started.
Daddy and the boys
We braved the zoo again in the heat but it was really fun and I'm glad we went. This is the only picture I took there...it's part of the Texas town. Can you find Ty in this pic? I love that he's even looking at the camera!
Happy to be getting some attention in there! We've been swimming lots but Brayden has decided swimming with friends is way more fun then with me...of course!
Pretending to be Shamu
I love taking a paintbrush to the pool because it keeps BB entertained for SO long.
I really can't help myself....I just have to squish these cheeks! Poor baby!

So thats all for the update. We leave for Ohio next week and I am SO excited to see everyone. Not to mention get out of this crazy Texas heat for a bit!
I can't believe how fast this summer is flying by!

A week with Kelly

My sister Kelly came to Texas to visit us and it was so much fun! I haven't seen her in person for over a year so I was super excited! I love Kelly cause we think all the same things are funny and we just turn into big dorks when we're together! It's the best!! Brayden adored her and every morning the first thing he would say to me was "Is Kelly awake yet?" It was so cute! We did lots of fun stuff and tried to beat the heat! Texas summers are the worst so I think she was glad to go back to Ohio where it doesn't get quite so hot and humid!

BB LOVES to color and loved that Kel would color with him. He was so excited on this day that they were both wearing red shirts! :) I took Kelly to the American Girl Doll Store in Dallas which was so much fun! I LOVE this store! I was obsessed with American Girl Dolls when I was younger and used to pour through the magazine every time it came in the mail and spend hours circling everything that I wanted in it. And then I would secretly put it on my parents bed hoping they would see it and buy me everything :) Anyways, it is fun to walk through the store and see everything all at once.... makes me feel like I am 6 again! So we had some fun there! The doll I had growing up was Felicity so I had to get a pic by her display!!
Kelly had Josephina so she posed by hers with BBAnd another one of me and Felicity...I totally have this outfit for my doll but not the horse! I'm sure I circled it at one point though!
SO they also have a baby doll collection at the store called bitty babies and we had a little too much fun over there. Brayden liked that section way too much and kept running around saying "Aw, these are SO cute!" It was pretty funny. I need to have a little girl someday so I don't feel so guilty taking my boys to a doll store!
This is Kel with her twins
Ty with the pumpkin doll...just about the same size! And we made BB pose with the little baby potty chair since he is newly potty trained- this is one of the "SO cute" things that he loved. The tiny potty and undies! lolAnd Guy will hate this but we made BB dress up in girl stuff....
Yes, we had a little too much time on our hands here!
Now the funniest part was I dug my old doll out of storage and brought it with me because they have this doll hair salon there and I wanted them to fix her hair. I've been wanting to keep her nice just in case I have a little girl someday! It was funny because her hair was so bad. I got her when I was in like 1st grade so this doll is like 17 years old and was well played with! I mean mine is like an antique now! haha! So they put her in the little chair and put a cape on her and got to work! And our luck we got the old, slow grandma working on her. She brushed her hair for like 20 minutes. I mean after she was done the grandma had to leave and take a break! She worked up such a sweat! We watched from a distance laughing because I was too embarrassed to claim her as mine!BB was pretty fascinated by the whole experience. He kept telling me, "wow mom, your doll is sure lookin' great!"
So now my doll is back in storage and lookin' good...
Alright, so finally moving on from the doll store...we took BB to jump town one morning and let him go crazy!
This is him and his "girlfriend" that followed him around everywhere. She was SO cute!!
Kelly was such a cool aunt and got in and jumped with him
And chilled with Ty too...I love his face in this one!
We ate some yummy ice cream at Paciguo...the best italian ice cream
And one night we had the craziest storm with the tornado sirens going off and like 75 mph winds. It was kinda scary but Texas seems to always have crazy storms like this at least once or twice a year. I took this pic of the sky after the storm had passed...it was so orange and pretty!
We let BB ride his scooter to the park
And we had a fun picnic under the trees
And then we all went and swam at the water park at the rec center
BB started out on the small red slide
But was so brave and went down the big green one all by himself! What a big boy!
Splashin' away
Kelly and BB...she was so nice and took him around the lazy river like 10 times! Isn't this such a cute picture of them together
We also did lots of shopping, hanging out, movies, eating, talking and laughing in between which made it such a fun week. We loved having Kelly here with us and miss her SO much already! We've been spoiled over here having visitors for 2 weeks in a row. On the way home from the airport after we dropped off Kel BB said to me, "mom, now we have nobody!" So funny!
Thanks for coming to see us Kelly! We sure love you! :)
