The rest of January & beginning of February

Probably the biggest thing that happened the beginning of February was that we ended up having to move...again! It was so annoying at the time but now (in May) I am over it and glad that we did. We were renting a townhome and the owner informed us that he was going to short sale it to try to get rid of it. We had just barely signed our year long lease with him a few months before so it was not good news. He gave us the option of staying while he went through the process but we would have had to deal with all the showings and the possibility of someone else buying it. So we took his second option, which was that we could get out of our contract and move. And that's what we did and found a cute little house to rent practically right across the street from Guy's work. It was a pain to pack up all our junk yet again, but I have to say that having Guy come home from work to eat his lunch with us and him not having a commute at all has been awesome! We see him so much more and it's just nice. Plus we live so close to the ocean now so we've had some fun times at the beach lately. Here are a few random pics from the end of January and the beginning of February...
Ty loves being wrapped up in a blanket to watch his movies
This was a fun night when both the boys were using their blankets as capes and running down the hallway being crazy. It kept both Guy and I pretty entertained :)

Moving boxes make the best forts!
Guy let Brayden use some of his drawings from the hospital he worked on back in Dallas.  Brayden loved it and got right to work on them.
And Tyler got to work on his own artwork. That boy loves to draw as much as his brother.
Gathering up all the shoes
And here are all the boxes the boys decorated while I was packing them up.  I saved a few of them after we moved because they were so cute!

MOSI

The end of January I took the boys to MOSI for the day. It kind of reminded me of COSI in Ohio, which is like a children's educational museum, except for the fact it was a lot older and kind of outdated. But the boys loved it and had a great time together. I probably would have never took them if I didn't see the deal on groupon to get tickets for half off. It was too good of a deal to pass up....I love groupon!!! We went during the week on a school day so we literally had the whole place to ourself. Very fun! And our ticket included an Imax movie so we watched one about dinosaurs which was perfect for my 2 dino loving boys.

This was Brayden's favorite thing...pretending he was flying an airplane.
And I'd say this was Ty's favorite. All that kid needs to be happy is a ball :)
I would totally watch the news more often if these guys were behind the desk!!

Quick visit from the Ohio Grandparents!

My parents went on a cruise out of Tampa in January, so of course they stayed a few extra days to hang out with us.  We went with them to Epcot on the absolute rainiest day in the world! Like it poured rain all day long. Not just sprinkles, but pouring rain. The memories I have of running into Epcot in our ponchos are hilarious. I could not stop laughing at my boys in them! The rain did let up in the afternoon and it made it a really nice day because the crowds were small.
This is the best picture in the world! Tyler in a poncho was hilarious!

Nemo ride :)

Mulan...he had no idea who she was!
This is hard to see but so funny. Mulan kissed Brayden on his cheek after the picture and her red lipstick got on his cheek. He hated it and got sooo mad when he found out there was lipstick there.
Love you guys! Thanks for coming to see us :)

Disney World Half Marathon

Picking up our race packets at the expo
On January 8 I ran the Disney half marathon and Brayden and Tyler ran the Disney kid races at Disney World. It was seriously so much fun which is not something I always say about running, but this one was like a party the whole time with characters and music the whole way. Ok and even fireworks at the starting line. I loved it! I almost made Guy run it for me since I hadn't trained very well for it...it was hard to get all my runs in with the craziness of the holidays before. But I am so glad that I went ahead and just ran it because I know Guy wouldn't have appreciated the magic of Disney! lol :)
Yes, I ran with my camera and I stopped at every single character to get my picture! It was so fun to not care about my time. In the race we ran through Magic Kingdom and finished in Epcot. If you run the full marathon, which was the next day, then you get to run through all four parks. My favorite was running in Magic Kingdom and through the castle. They had the most characters in there and it was just fun...plus that meant I could take lots of running breaks to stop and see each one. I needed them!!!
Running through Epcot!
Guy and the kids surprised me and found me on the course!
Crossing the finish line!
I did it! :)
Brayden loved my donald duck medal. You got a donald for the half, Mickey for the full and the crazy people that ran the half on Saturday and the full on Sunday got both medals plus an extra goofy one.
Here we are getting ready for the kid races to start which were in the afternoon. They were at the ESPN Wide World of Sports track and all I can say is it was chaos. Sooo many kids everywhere! But it was $10 and they got a shirt and a medal so it was totally worth it. Tyler ran the 100m and Brayden did the 200m. And when I say Tyler ran, I mean I carried him 100m while he pouted the whole time. That's Tyler for ya!
But we love him :)
We didn't get any pictures of them while they ran because their races were so short and it was really just chaos. But here's Brayden after with his mickey medal. He was so proud!
Brayden showing us how fast he can run
Playing on the mickey hill with all the kids

Posing for our picture after the race
All in all, it was so much fun and I would totally do it again next year!
