I just love this boy!

Can I just say that I love the age of almost 2. I think it is my favorite!

I'm pretty sure everything a 2 year old does is considered adorable.

I love watching them discover the world and watching their little personalities shine through.

And I love having 3 hours every morning with just me and my Ty Ty

while Brayden is in school.

And that for 3 hours every afternoon I get to spend time with my Brayden

while Tyler takes his nap.

It's a great system we have going on right now in life.

Here's my favorite moments lately of Tyler during our mornings.

Gosh, I LOVE this boy!!!

He loves to color! On paper, his legs, walls...he's not picky!
This is Tyler for ya...He does this almost every day! Collects all the matching figures to sets, brings them in my room, and just sits there and sorts them.
And then he always picks a few to carry around with him all day

He seriously thought he was sooo funny that he had thought to put it on his head. He was cracking himself up, which of course was hilarious to watch him being silly. What a goof ball! And yes, we picked up Brayden from school like this b/c this hat stayed on all morning long!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. It was just us and we missed our families like crazy, but we made some good memories and it was nice to not have any pressure if I totally bombed the Thanksgiving meal! Last year I went all out and made a huge turkey all by myself, just to see if I could do it. And it turned out great but it was way too much meat for our little family and a lot of work. So this year I just made a little turkey breast and that's it... it was easy and still yummy! We also had mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled asparagus, corn, homemade rolls, stuffing, sparkling cider and of course pumpkin pie. Of course, we had to laugh when all Tyler ate of the whole meal was a bite of corn and a roll. Go figure!

Brayden had a Thanksgiving party at his preschool. This is right after he shared what he was thankful for...his little brother. Cute :)

A kid in Brayden's class brought a pinata to the party to celebrate his birthday so it was a lot of fun. Brayden missed the first time but on his second swing he got a good hit!!!

The boys and I made another Thanksgiving tree where we wrote on each leaf what we are thankful for this year. Truly we need a lot bigger tree to fit everything we are thankful for on it. We have been so blessed this year!

And then after Thanksgiving we tore it up at the Black Friday sales...well I mean Guy did. I stayed home with the kiddos and was his support team. Go Guy! He went to Toys R Us on Thanksgiving night because they opened at 10. It was outrageous because there are really only 2 Toy R Us's in the area, but he made it in and out and lived to tell the tale. He came home with some SWEET deals. Everything we got for Christmas this year was definitely half off or more! He also stopped by walmart when they opened at midnight and good a few steals there as well. All I have to say is black friday is crazy, but we always get killer deals every year so it's totally worth it. Or maybe I just say that because I am the one at home in my nice warm bed. Although, doing black friday in Florida is nice because it's not cold at all. The real crazy people are the ones waiting in lines outside in the snow!

Quick beach stop...

Clearwater beach is gorgeous. White sand, palm trees, pretty water. What more do you need! I love driving on the bridge to get there and being surrounded by the ocean on all sides. It's one of my favorite things!

We randomly went down there one Saturday in November to get some lunch (thank you groupon coupon) only to find out that an Ironman race was going on and the beach was CRAZY! So we left but stopped on our way back home so the kids could play in their "giant sandbox" real quick. It wasn't the nicest beach in Clearwater but it sure was nice to pull our car right up and not have to lug all our stuff really far. Plus the parking was free...we like that!

Tangled

I thought the new disney movie Tangled was SO cute! I forced all my boys to go see it with me at the drive in and they all secretly loved it too, even if they won't admit it. But I do realize that I need a girl someday so the forcing part doesn't have to happen! :) Where was my sister Kelly when I needed her??? :) We also saw the characters from Tangled at Disney awhile ago and again, I forced Brayden to go get a picture with them. It was actually really funny because usually he isn't shy around the characters, but around the pretty Rapunzel he was SO shy and would only nod his head to everything she said. They were so cute with him and seriously I think the guy they had be Flynn Rider looks so much like him (even if the sun was blocking out his face in the pics). So thank you my Brayden for putting up with your mom and making her happy even though you were one of the only boys in line. Guy made sure to do something really manly with him after!!! :)
