Medieval Times Dinner

We went to a medival times dinner/show and had so much fun. You are basically served dinner while they peform a show and tournament right in front of you. We sat right in the front row which was fun... they only sad part was our knight was killed off first so we had no one to cheer for after that. But it was still very entertaining and we found out they have one in Dallas so maybe we'll have to go again sometime! :) On our way into the castle
Posing by some knights
Grandpa bought Brayden his very own sword which was a huge hit...we just need to teach him how to hold it!
Standing with the King and Queen
Guy and I siiting in our throne
The rest of the crew trying to take a serious shot... minus kyle!
This picture just cracks me up...they look so smug!Watching the show
Brayden was excited that there were horses...even though he did fall asleep half way through. We wore that boy out on this trip!
But Tyler woke up and decided he wanted to see what was going on.
Ty with his crown on
They took this picture of all of us and wanted us to buy it for $20 but I just snapped a picture of it real quick...sneaky huh!
They took each of our pictures in the beginning and then put them on different bodies. Here's Guy as a knight! haha
Me as a princess or something...I love how long my arms are!

And finally the best for last...BB! So funny!

So that about sums up our vacation with a lot of swimming and relaxing in between! Thanks for letting us tag along again mom and dad! We always have a great time with you guys. When I asked Brayden his favorite part of the whole trip he said Jason and Kyle! Thanks for spending so much time with him guys! We love all of you and miss you tons! :)

Disney on Ice

We surprised Brayden on Wednesday night with a trip into Dallas to see Disney on Ice! It was so much fun and even though we were sitting way up high (thats what you get for $10 tickets) it was still a blast! Brayden's said his favorite part was that Goofy kept falling down. He laughed so hard every time! They had all the Mickey characters and then they showed parts from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, and Peter Pan. Getting ready to go in...He was SO excited!
Hard to get good pictures cause our seats were so high, but here is Mickey and his friends!
BB watching the show...and sporting his new hair cut!
The grand finale with everybody- I loved how Peter Pan and Tinkerbell flew above the ice. Very cool!
So that was preparation for where we are headed next week - We'll be on our way to see Mickey Mouse at his real house in Florida! We're tagging along again with my family on their spring break trip to Orlando- couldn't resist with travel and lodging expenses covered! :) Not sure if Ty and I will see Mickey this time, but Brayden is sure excited and we're glad he's still free! I'm most excited for my Dad and Brothers to meet Tyler while we're there. It should be a fun trip and nice to get away and spend some time with family. I'm sure we'll have lots to report once we get back! :)
Tyler is ready to go!

Our Little One-Month-Old...

Our sweet little boy is one month old today- its so crazy how fast time has flown by! It seems like he was just born yesterday, but on the other hand it just feels like he's been a part of our family forever. He just fits in so perfectly that its hard to think of life without him now! He has brought such a sweet spirit in our home and reminds us daily how fresh from heaven these little ones come. He had his one month checkup today and is a healthy boy and has grown lots in the last 4 weeks! Now if he could just learn to sleep more at night, we'd be set!
Brayden is doing great too and is the best big brother! If you ask him about his baby brother he'll tell you "that he crys a lot" which is very true! He's been a great helper and helps as much as he can-bringing me diapers and wipes, finding binkys, and singing Tyler songs to cheer him up when he's sad! It's been really fun to watch him with his little bro and to see how much he loves him!

I am feeling pretty good these days and feel almost back to normal! Despite being more tired than I ever remember being, I am really enjoying this newborn stage with Tyler. They get big so fast so I am savoring this time while he is so small. We are just loving life right now and really love being a family of four! It's the best! :)

Grandma and Grandpa Hill

We've been enjoying having Guy's parents here with us for a few days and were SO sad to have them leave today! We had such a great time and Brayden keeps asking me "why its just us now." I think he has enjoyed all these visitors! The weather was beautiful while they were here so we all enjoyed that and the time together! It went by way too fast! Here are lots of pictures from the weekend! Brayden had a blast with Grandpa at the park and they had fun burying "treasures" at the playground.
Swinging away
Enjoying the sunshine!
They spent a lot of time building huge lego towers!

On Saturday I stayed home with Tyler while Guy and Brayden took his parents into Dallas. They got to take a peek at where Guy works, see the Dallas Temple, and toured the JFK museum. They brought home Sprinkles cupcakes as a treat which are the best cupcakes ever!

Here's a few pics from the temple grounds...
Brayden with Grandma and Grandpa

I LOVE this picture... now we just need to get Great Grandpa Hill in there for a 4 generation shot!
Tyler and Grandma
What a great dad! :) Just lounging in his bouncer
I think what Tyler is trying to say here is NO MORE PICTURES!!! :)
Thanks again for coming to see us! We had such a great time and we love you guys so much!

Sleepin' away!

Yes, we're all a little worn out over here so sleeping is our favorite thing to do...when we can!
I am pretty sure that Brayden has tripled in size since we brought Tyler home. He seems so big now... its hard to remember that he was once as little as Ty is!
Actually its funny cause I was looking through Brayden's baby book the other day and his 2 week stats are the exact same as Tyler's. Weight, Height and even Head Circumference! Pretty Crazy!

Tyler will be 3 weeks old on Monday! It's so crazy how fast time flies!
