The Lighting of Cinderella's Castle

At Christmas at magic kingdom, they light up Cinderella's castle with thousands of lights. It is seriously breathtaking!
The mickey mouse gang all do a show first...
And Cinderella comes out and wishes her castle could sparkle like her glass slipper
And the fairy godmother lights it up piece by piece!
It is gorgeous and so amazing. I read online that they light it up by attaching led lights to nets that are dyed the same colors as different parts of he castle. So during the day you can't really see them but at night the castle is draped in lights. And since they are led lights they only use as much energy as running 3 dryers. Amazing!

Magic Kingdom at Christmas!!!

Driving into the park and seeing a big snowman Mickey!!!
Decorations everywhere! It is so festive and cute there!
Dancing with the Ice guy from Incredibles in the block party parade they had. It was so cute and the kids got to get up close with so many characters!
Dancing behind either Chip or Dale...no idea how you can tell whos who?
The giant Christmas tree
Riding the train to Mickey's house in Toon town
I have a picture of Brayden sitting on top of this mailbox when he was a baby with Guy. Now he's as tall as the mailbox! How did that happen??
Pictures from inside Mickey's house...they are tearing this part down soon so I thought I'd document
Mickey's Garden
Block Part again. Hanging out with Donald Duck!
And this is my all time favorite picture. Brayden's face is pure joy! I love it!
We LOVE Goofy!
Dancing by Mr. Incredible
He came over to say HI!!! :)
Waiting for the Castle show to start
We bought both the boy's mickey ears that day as a surprise and this was the first time Tyler would actually wear them. It lasted about 5 minutes but at least I got a few pics of him in them.

I Loved this day. It's true, Magic Kingdom really is the most magical place on earth. Guy and I smiled the whole day at how much fun our boys were having. Life is good and I am grateful every day that we were able to make it work to get these passes and make so many memories together. Sure beats cable tv any day!

Epcot at Christmas

Christmas at Disney World is amazing! We loved being able to go so much and do all the fun things they have going on. Epcot was so much fun and it was neat to see how they change all the landscaping to be Christmasy! These pictures are from we went for Guy's 28th Birthday on December 10.
I love this picture of Tyler and Guy!
Family pic :)
This is a gingerbread house made out of all real ingredients!!!
It was pretty cool how detailed it was and how big it was!
At Epcot they have kids stations at every country where they can color a duffy bear and then collect a stamp from every country when they visit it. Brayden loved it and was excited to get more stamps! He took forever coloring his bear and we let him...which is yet another reason why it's nice to have a pass. I'm sure I wouldn't have let him if we were only going to be there one day!
My cute Brayden... I love this boy!
Dancing to the music in England!
We spotted Tigger and Pooh hiding in a corner and ran over to see them!
So fun!
We went back later to see Epcot's Christmas program. It's called the Candlelight Processional and a celebrity comes and reads the Christmas story out of the bible and you listen to music played by the orchestra and sung by the choir. It was really nice and I was really impressed with Disney that all of the songs sung were the ones about Christ's birth. Not one mention of Santa in this program. And the Christmas story was read right out of the bible! I feel like that doesn't happen to often in public places like this.
When we went Whoopi Goldberg was the celebrity reader. It was really cool to get to see her, even if we were pretty far away!
Belle and the Beast in France, but the line was way too long. I think Kelly would have been a better Belle then this girl! Come on Kelly, do it! :)
Short line to see Sleeping Beauty so BB was forced again. I love how all the princesses had their winter cloaks on...It really wasn't that cold, but you know how all the Floridians are!
It was funny after because he came up to me and said, "Mom, I think she really thought I was a prince because she kept calling me a little prince!" He was dead serious and it cracked us up!
Marie from Aristocats had a short line too. BB was excited to see her because she is Ellie's favorite!
Right after the picture she gave him a hug and then we didn't catch it with our camera but she gave him a kiss too!

He HATED it and would not stop making this face after! So funny!
