Brady's school had a fundraiser on December 3. The kids ran and biked in a Duathlon at the school and all the race entry fees raised money for it. It was really cute and Brayden was SO excited about it. They had to run .25 miles, bike a mile, and then run another .25 to the finish.
They even chip timed the race...pretty fancy
And they're off!
They ran the race in heats so Brayden ran with the Kindergarten and 1st grade boys.
Brayden has been working hard on riding a bike with no training wheels but he wasn't quite ready to ride a whole mile without them so Guy put them back on for the race. He accidentally put them on Brayden's old bike though and we didn't have time to switch them back so he rode the whole thing on a tiny bike. But he did so great! A mile is a looong way to go for a 5 year old!

He did it!!! That is his gym teacher on the left who organized the whole thing. It really was pretty cute and you could just see how special all the kids felt when they crossed the finish line with everyone cheering for them :)
