Pumpkins

We took the kids to 2 pumpkin patches this year and had so much fun! I seriously love going to pumpkin patches...it just feels so fall like! The pumpkins were way overpriced though so we let BB pick out a 50 cent mini pumpkin and then took a family trip to Walmart to buy our big ones. There's no way I'm spending $10 on a pumpkin!!!

The first patch we went to was one we went to last year and it is so cute. We learned last year that it is insane on Saturdays so we went on a weekday night and practically had the place to ourselves. It has the cutest cutouts everywhere of so many fun characters which Brayden LOVED~!
BB howling with the dalmations
Hugging his favorite mouse
My 2 favorite punkins
I thought this was so cute! Especially cause this fall BB is obsessed with how "big" he is. I swear he asks me every 5 seconds if he looks bigger!!
Pooh characters are my favorite!
Up
And they had baby sesame street characters.
So adorable!
A house made out of pumpkins!
our 2 little pumpkins we picked out
We went to patch #2 last Saturday because it was seriously the nicest day ever outside! October in Texas is the best! They had these tractor bikes to ride which were pretty cute!
Me and my little skeletons
Up on the big tractor with daddy
But Brayden could ride on the little one himself
By the way, Ty is crawling now like crazy! He is a maniac so getting him to sit still for a picture is pretty much impossible. He's got places to go now!
Howdy partner
We had some fun in the corn maze
Doesn't Ty look so excited to be here! :)
And finally we carved our pumpkins last night for fhe
My parents sent Brayden this pirate Mr. potato head set that you stick the pieces into a pumpkin and it was seriously the cutest thing ever! Thank you guys!!!! He thought it was so cool but wasn't so sure about the earrings in the ears because his pirate "is not a gurl!" Too funny!
Getting ready to carve!
Guy hard at work
And here they are! I did the one on the left and Guy did the one one on the right! But we still think that Brayden's is the cutest!
It's almost Halloween!!!!

Thank you Missy!!

We had Guy's sister Missy take some family pictures of us while we were in Utah and we LOVE them! I posted a few on here but you can click here and see a few more on her photography blog. Seriously if you live in the area and want some pictures taken you should get in touch with her. She does a great job, don't you think!! :)
Thank you SOOO much Missy for taking them! You are AWESOME and we can't wait to see the rest of them! :)

The rest of it...

I'm posting a ton of pics on here... probably more then anyone wants to see. Here's the rest of our trip (after the marathon)
After running we just hung out in our hotel room. Mike and Mandy were so sweet and took our kids swimming that afternoon so we could rest a bit
Here I am in too much pain to even move
And I'd say Guy was pretty wiped out too...I guess running a marathon does that to you ;)
The next day we went to the St. George Temple grounds. It is such a gorgeous temple! It was funny cause you could totally tell everyone who had run the day before because we were all limping around.
Ty was loving all the pretty flowers
I'm pretty sure we could have sat here all day and he would have been happy...and we almost had to because I had the hardest time standing up again!!!
Brayden insisted on wearing one of our medals all day which I thought was cute
Ty's thoughtful look
We loved the visitors center there and sitting in the room with the statue of Jesus
We had a great time hanging with cousins and Brayden was excited to go to a dinosaur museum with them. I sure wish we lived closer so we could get together with these guys more!
Hannah, Hailey, and Brayden
Me and Ty
Hannah and Brayden pointing to their favorite dinos
We went to an animal museum too which was really cool. Am I the only one that didn't know that ligers really are a real animal?
Standing by the big elephant
I love Hailey's cute curls!
Luke, Brayden and Hannah checking out the spiders
Missy and all the kiddos
Brayden did not want to leave his cousins. He was so angry that he sat on the curb and gave us his best mad face. Hannah and Luke tried to give us theirs too but I think Brayden won that contest!
We got to see my Grandma Richardson and spend some time with her. Brayden was obsessed with a scooby doo puzzle she had and we all worked on that for hours.
It was so nice to see her and catch up on everything. We had such a nice time and I was so sad to say goodbye...I wish we could have stayed with her longer! :(
Guy was able to go shoot some guns with his brother mike and had a lot of fun doing that
Guy and Mike
We were so excited to see Jay and Heather and finally meet little Gwen who was born a week and a half after Tyler!
She is seriously adorable!
Jay proving me wrong that he could get Ty to do the 'stand on your hand' thing.
Maybe we'll have to hook these 2 up in the future! :)
Gwen and Ty with Jay and Heather's Australian friend. She was seriously the nicest person ever and it was so fun to get to know her and her boys!
Jay throwing Gwen up in the air (even though it kind of looks like we dropped her off the top!)
And Tyler couldn't get quite as much height as little Gwen because well, he's a chunk!
SO cute!
We went over to the Radfords for dinner and had fun seeing everybody. Here's Coleman with all the kids~ Tyler, Gwen and Isaac
Kisses from daddy
Paige with Gwen
Amelia and Tyler
Ty, Hailey, Ethan and Austin
It was SO great to see you guys!!
Everybody just hanging out eating some yummy food that Amanda made
Brayden, Isaac and Ethan playing with the zoo animals
And here's the whole crew! It was so fun to see everyone and hopefully we can all get together again soon! :)
