Not sure if anyone else has ever seen the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds", but it was one of those movies that freaked me out when I saw it. I've discovered that living here in Texas this time of year feels like I am right in the middle of that movie. I guess these birds are called grackles and they are seriously everywhere. They are so loud and annoying! I realize I live in the South, but I just wish they would fly more South for the winter! I took these pictures from the car yesterday a few blocks from our house! They don't really portray how many birds there really are, but it was the best I could do! Trust me, its kinda freaky!

hey, I actually remember seeing that movie when it came out...forever ago...its always freaked me out too. And yes, thats a ton of birds....ugh...glad you guys have cars and I guess a garage. Imagine sitting under one of those wires!
yeah, i guess i never thought about you living "south"....at least you dont have a freezing winter eh?i never saw birds, but that looks pretty scary... i'd be afraid to walk outside. we love you guys!!!

I love that movie! It is kinda freaky though. I say you start boarding up your windows! Watch out. :)
