Happy Halloween!

Posing with his baby buzz!
We stopped by to see a mummy friend
And he LOVED helping pass out the candy so much that it was hard to leave!
But he had to trick or treat with his buzz lightyear twin...
And his ninja brother! They went to SO many houses
I think he got enough candy... don't you!

* HAPPY HALLOWEEN! *

Thanks Grandma!

YOUR THE BEST!

Yippee!!

Guy came home early Saturday morning with this steal! I've been too lazy to crawl out of bed the last 2 weeks, but Guy has faithfully continued our garage sale obsession on his own! I love him! :) He bargained this baby glider for the nursery down to $15... can you believe it! I need to recover the fabric on the cushions though cause the denim isn't really my thing and then it will seem like brand new. I am not a sewing person at all, but I'm hoping it won't be too hard! At least I have until February to figure it out!

Just a bunch of randomness...

Brayden and Guy at our trunk or treat trying to win cupcakes at the cake walk. No luck, but its good because we got enough candy to last us forever I think! We don't need any more sugar!

This was such a funny game... they had to hit these kids on the head with the hammers. BB thought it was hilarious!

We headed back to 6 flags for their halloween activities and of course to ride some rides. We're going to be sad when our season pass runs out cause its been so fun! BB had fun getting candy from all the looney tunes characters What's this guy's name? I seriously don't remember... Brayden giving him a high five!
Posing with bugs bunny
Brayden on the hot air balloon ride... yes, his hands are up but trust me it wasn't that thrilling! :)

Riding on the airplane ride

Ya, he's been workin out a bit with Guy
And I am just so flexible! haha

And finally, here is Brayden with his Buckeye player that my dad brought him on his visit in September. And we've managed to keep the head on dad! :) We were bummed last night that they lost to Penn State, but Brayden was cracking us up throughout the game. He was really getting into it and when the players tackled eachother he would yell out, "hey guys you need to share!" So funny! He also thinks that tackling someone means to tickle them. I think we have a few things to teach him about football! :)

Trick or Treating at Safety Town

Ok I'm not sure if anyone else did safety town at the fire station when they were younger, but I did and I can remember loving it. So I was so excited to find out they had one here and that we could go trick or treating at it! And all I can say is it is like 10 times cooler then mine was. It's seriously a miniature town with real stop lights and everything. And look what you get to drive on the little streets...

How fun is that! I only rode bikes! I love that they even has a toll tag on front! So funny!
The policemen and fire fighters handed out safety things for kids to wear trick or treating and of course lots of candy! It was so fun to walk inside all the little buildings.
On our way

We wrote our names on the big chalk wall at the mini school.

Oh ya, they even had a mini walmart... what town is complete without one of those!

Posing by the scary bulldozer... he's way into construction stuff these days which Guy is loving!
We got to go inside a paramedic
And it was torture trying to get him out of it! :)

We had such a fun time and the fire station did a great job! It was good practice for trick or treating on Halloween night... Brayden is all warmed up and ready to go! Bring on the candy!

Another one...

We tried out another pumpkin patch just for fun. It was a such a cute one, but we went on a saturday so it was super crowded when we were there... We'll remember for next year to go during the week! We felt like we were back at disney world with all the character things everywhere. BB loved it! There were tons of them but I just picked a few favorites to share! Can't wait to carve our pumpkins and go trick or treating! It's almost Halloween! :) Me and my goofball
This is what BB is going to be this year

This cracked me up... he loves mickey!

Butterfly Festival

They had a fun festival nearby that was all about butterflies. It was to celebrate the migration of the monarch butterfly from Canada to Mexico. I guess we're on their path here so we got to watch as the released hundreds of butterflies in the sky. It was pretty cool! They had lots of other stuff going on too so it was a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. On our way... we found this push car at a garage sale and Brayden loves it. I think he really thinks he's driving! Best 3 bucks we ever spent! :)

What a cool kid!

These are some butterflies that are in South America. Aren't they so pretty! The last one is from Peru... did you see any of those on your mission dad???

Just dumping the glitter on! We were seriously covered in glitter from head to toe the rest of the day! They had lots of fun crafts for the kids to do.

We waited in line forever to get a balloon made by this clown. Most kids wanted him to make butterflies but Brayden wanted....

A pirate sword of course! That's our boy! :)

Just hangin' at home

My little cowboy riding his horse!
Well, we're still a one car family and plan on that for awhile longer I think. Guy will ride his bike to work sometimes so we can have the car, which is crazy to me, but it works... it's like a total of 32 miles a day when he does! But he actually really enjoys it so I say go ahead! :) Riding that far would be considered a form of torture to me! Anyways, we've been spending a lot more time at home (which is why I've been blogging so much lately I think!) So here are just a few random pictures for the day. I'm excited its almost the weekend!
I gave in and finally let him use his paints again...now I remember why we don't get them out much. After a spilled mess and paint from head to toe, it turned out to be a lot of work! This is obviously a before pic to the disaster! But he loves his skeleton so its all worth it I guess! :)

Memory Lane

Ahh, where did my baby go? I find myself thinking this all the time these days. I found these pictures from last year when we got pumpkins and couldn't believe how much he has grown since then. Plus I just LOVE this sweater that Stacy bought him and am so bummed that he's too big for it this year! :( Good thing I'm having another boy!
We finally found the cord to hook our video camera up to our tv so we spent the night a few nights ago finally being able to watch all of our family videos. It was so much fun! Brayden is going through a major phase where he only wants to be a big boy... no more baby stuff. So when we were watching the videos of when he was first born and when he was a baby he refused to admit it was him. "I am not a baby, I am a big boy! That's the baby in your tummy" It was so funny. We tried to explain to him that it couldn't be the baby in my tummy cause he was still in there, but it was hopeless. We finally stopped commenting to him about how cute he was back when he was a baby but everytime someone called him Brayden on the video he got all worked up about it again. It wasn't until he was about the age of one on the tape that he would finally admit that it was him! So funny! I need to remember to get the camera out more often because it was so fun to watch it back and remember everything that has happened. We've had some good times! :)

I am getting so excited to have another little one around that I can hardly wait. I guess its finally starting to sink in because I just started to show and he's been kicking like crazy, so it all seems a little more real. I went through all of Brayden's old baby clothes and couldn't believe how small they were. Was he really that small once? It's just crazy how fast time goes. But we are all ready around here to have another little one running around. It's funny how February can seem so soon and yet so far away all at the same time! I know it'll be here before we know it!

Just a fun filled Saturday

We had a fun, very full day on Saturday! We started out our morning heading to garage sales, of course, and found a few good steals. Some great toys to save away for Christmas and some nice baskets that were super cheap! The baseball park by our house was having a fall festival that was free so we decided to stop by after since its just around the corner. It was crowded but very fun and how can you turn down free food and drinks? Brayden and Daddy Just lounging eating some chips in the stands!
After the festival, we headed to a pumpkin patch with the Southwick Family for even more fun! The place we went was super cute and had lots of fun activities to do besides just picking pumpkins. We fed the goats and sheep Rode on a tractor
Went on a hay rideGot to ride a train pulled by a tractor with a best buddy

Hiding in the train And of course explored the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins were kinda pricey so we only bought him a tiny baby one. So we'll be hunting for bigger pumpkins another saturday I think! :) Brayden and his stick
2 best buds! It's so cute how much they love each other (even though Brayden's face doesn't quite show that here!)

So a very long, but fun filled day. I loved going to an actual pumpkin patch this year... just made it seem more festive and fall-like... since we are all still wearing shorts here! I think we wore Brayden out!
