Ok, so we have cockroaches in our apartment! I am freaking out! We had them awhile ago and they came and sprayed and for about a month they were gone... but now they are back! I know they are harmless, Guy tells me this all the time. But they are just so disgusting looking. And now you are about to hear how pathetic I really am. Last night Guy killed 4 of them (sick huh) so I thought there couldn't possibly be any more in the house. I woke up this morning and went to sit on the couch and saw one running across the living room floor. I freaked out big time and called Guy crying (yes i Know) and finally got the courage to trap it under a bowl. I put all the harry potter books on top of it so it couldn't get out. And after that I left for the whole day with Brayden. I left at 7:30 am and didn't get home until 9:00 pm cause I was so convinced that the cockroaches were taking over our house and I needed Guy there to kill all of them. He of course had to work really late tonight which was just my luck! Guy thinks I need to go to counseling for my serious fear of bugs but I know all they'll do is like make me hold a tarantula or something until I'm not afraid of it... ya no way! Its all because of those wolf spiders in idaho... eww! I am just gonna start training Brayden to be the bug killer around here!!Anyways, to fill up my day I took Brayden to the zoo in fort worth and we both had so much fun there. It was so hot though but still lots of fun! We went to the mall and shopped and I found a new swimsuit and sandals. Brayden loves playing on the play place they have there so I let him play as long as he wanted for once to take up time. I bought some indoor/outdoor bug killer spray that I sprayed everywhere tonight. The pest control guys come on friday so hopefully no more roaches!!

sorry to be the one to tell you but once an apt has roaches....they dont go away. in college i lived in an apt with roaches and i guess the apt always had them no matter what they did...sprayed so many times.....anyhow...i guess you just have to make sure there arent any crumbs on the floor and stuff. i mean, im no expert,but that is just what i hear. that's so yucky!!! brayden looks great!!! i love you guys tons. love ria
You are too funny! Nice to be out of the house for the day huh? I can't believe how big brayden is. Everytime I see I new picture he looks bigger! All these little boys are going to have so much fun when they get together next time. I guess it might be a while cause Christmas this year is w/ Justin's fam. Hopefully we'll see you guys sometime anyway! I had never seen a roach until I went to Costa Rica. They had HUGE ones. Sick!
I know how you feel about bugs, I STILL have nightmares about spiders. Justin thinks I'm silly. It's gotten much better though. I don't freak out as much cause I don't want my kids to be as afraid as I am. When we lived at Justin's mom's last summer she had tons of those wolf spiders in her basement and they would always come out when Justin was gone. AHHHHH!!!
If I were you, I'd start looking for a house!
lol, i would be acting the same way if i saw roaches. they are doing landscaping outside our apartment so there are like millions of bugs crawling around everywhere, so im like a freak about keeping the door shut. if i leave the house i make sure the doors only open for a couple seconds. and when im home ive been putting a towel along the bottom of the door... just in case! anwyay, brayden does look soo big. you are the cutest mom, taking him to the zoo and the play place!
I can't blame you for leaving the apartment with roaches there! I think that is the one bug I could not force myself to be brave and kill by myself...what is their purpose anyway? At least you had fun stuff to go and do with Brayden who is so cute-especially covered in food.

Thats pretty gross, your not the only one that freaks out about bugs. When we moved to California last summer before we even got there Coleman told me about roaches and I was already crying. I never went to bed without checking the entire apartment. It was the worst! I feel your pain! Brayden is getting big, keep us posted and hope you are feeling better.
