Crazy move

 We have moved soo many times since we have been married, so I'd say we pretty much have it down. But for some reason, this move was just so hard.  We ended up packing up and moving ourselves across the country and with 3 kids, it was just tough. For about a month Guy was flying to Colorado during the week and coming home on the weekends while we got ready for our move. All I have to say is being a "single mom" for that time was exhuasting!

We are SOOO grateful for Guy's dad who flew out to drive with Guy to Colorado on April 14 with our moving truck of stuff. It was a 32 hour drive with a HUGE truck and car trailer on the back and they drove almost the whole way without stopping.  I honestly don't know how they did it, but I am so grateful they got there safe! Guy stayed in Colorado that week after they drove out to work and then flew back to drive out to Colorado with us the next weekend in our car.  Yes, we are still recovering from this crazy move!

I had planned on staying that week in our empty house with the kids to save some money on hotels but after a few nights of this craziness on our air mattress, I gave in and checked into a hotel :)

Goodbye Sunset Beach

It was hard to say goodbye to our favorite place to watch the sunset.

I will miss the Ocean so much.

There is something so relaxing about walking in the sand barefoot,

listening to the waves,

smelling the salty air.

I will definitely miss having this 10 minutes away.

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter this year. My family came to Florida to leave for a cruise for their spring break so we got to hang out with them for a bit, and we lucked out that they came over Easter. We aren't used to being able to spend it with family!  The boys all loved searching for their Easter baskets and eggs. This is the first year since we've been married that we didn't end up dying easter eggs, but life was just so crazy with the packing and moving so we'll make up for it next year.  The day ended with easter grass and candy wrappers everywhere so it was definitely a success.

Busch Gardens in Tampa

 We went to Busch Gardens for a day with my parents and brothers before they left for their cruise. It is SO crazy that it was our first time going since it is in Tampa. Seriously I wish we had gotten a pass since it was so close because it really was a lot of fun. They had a killer deal on these wristbands where you could get all you could eat food at locations throughout the park and it was crazy. Usually at amusement parks you try not to spend a lot since food is so expensive so we pretty much ate ourselves sick and loved every second of it.  Busch Gardens is fun because it's pretty much a mix between an amusement park with big roller coasters and rides and then a zoo with lots of animals everywhere. Such a great day, I'm so glad we were able to go!
