Do Not Forget...

BB loves Christmas lights and asked us almost daily why we didn't put lights up on our house like everyone else. So Guy told Brayden that he would put Christmas lights up on our house next year and we found this note outside our door one day after new years. SO funny!

Happy New Year!

We celebrated "Noon Years Eve" with the boys at a jump house nearby.
They counted down to noon for all the kids and everyone celebrated. It was cute!

We started a new tradition of taking down everything off tree except for the lights and decorating it New Years Eve morning with balloons and all our party hats and poppers.  The kids thought it was great!
Since we were all by ourselves for New Years this year I tried to find things to do to keep us busy and having fun.  We made balloons for every hour until midnight and inside each one was an activity on a piece of paper that we could do as a family.  The boys loved popping them and seeing what was inside!

6- Balloon volleyball
7- Video 2011 interviews (We started it this year where we video the kids one on one talking about the year and answering questions. It will be fun to look back on in the future if we can keep it up!)
8- Call grandparents and wish them Happy New Year!
9- Play a family game- We played Disney Headbandz that we got for Christmas. Pretty fun!
10- Eat a special snack and watch a movie
11- Turn on the music and dance!
12- Tell your favorite memory from 2011
Little cutie pie :)
New Years Eve in Florida is seriously like the 4th of July. Everyone sets off fireworks all night long and people in our neighborhood were setting off huge ones. It was so fun to go out and watch! BB was so brave and did some fireworks by himself.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Brayden was so excited he got to stay up for midnight!
We made sure the little sleepers got to celebrate a bit too!
Elfie and Randall headed back to the North Pole after our New Years party and left the boys a little note with their blocks :)

Florida Snow

 Hanging out with beebs
Yay the double chin has arrived!
 We have a smiler!
Bath time has finally become an enjoyable experience. No more crying!
We headed back to Celebration in Orlando to play in some Florida snow, which is basically like foamy bubble stuff.  Haha, we do what we can here :)
Funny story about these fountains.  They would randomly shoot up and then go down and a bunch of kids would quickly run across when they went down to try to beat the water.  So of course, my boys decided to join in and had fun doing it too.  That is until Brady ran across and hesitated in the middle just long enough to not be able to get out when the water came back up. He was stuck in the middle and he got soaked! The best part is we got it all on video! So we left pretty quickly after that and he had to ride all the way back to Tampa with no clothes on wrapped in a blanket.  Now I think I will start keeping extra clothes for my kids in the car!!

CHRISTMAS in FL

Sleepy boys! Guy and I are like little kids and woke up way before them because we were so excited. Haha! Eventually we decided to go wake them up because we couldn't wait any longer...granted it was around 8 and we had to be at church at 10!
They were pretty excited though once we woke them up.  We asked them each a Christmas question (tradition my dad used to do when I was little) and made them line up to go into the family room where Santa had come. Guy gave them easy questions this year. Ty was asked who the reindeer is with the red nose and BB was asked what Santa's wife's name. And then he asked both of them what the true meaning of Christmas was. Glad they got all their questions right :)
Looks like Santa was here! He left behind a few things like a reindeer bell outside by the reindeer food, a glove, a button and a piece of his jacket.  And we even found some "snow" footprints from his boots and one of his reindeer on our back porch coming into our house.  The boys were going crazy with all these great clues that he was here.  We sent the pieces he left behind back to the North Pole with Elfie and Randall the next day so Santa could have them back :)

All of our piles from Santa....
I love the excited faces of Christmas morning. I think Guy and I smiled the whole time!

We did our presents from Santa before church and then after we got back we opened all the ones under our tree. BB was all about opening a present and getting on to the next one, but Ty would open one and then want to play with it first so we just let him. It was fun because it made Christmas last all day. We just took our sweet time :)
Ty was the only one who didn't want to change back into jammies after church. Silly boy!

Brady made Guy a plate at school and he was SO excited for him to open it. Pretty cute!
Watching new Christmas movies together
What a wonderful Christmas it was. I love the magic of this time of year and this is definitely one I will never forget!
