A bit of our Weekend

 We didn't do much this weekend since Guy was at a campout with the boys scouts Friday night and most of Saturday. But we did drive up to Daniels Gate Park, which is about 5 minutes away from us. Amazing views! There is usually a whole herd of buffalo there which we love to try and find but instead we found a buffalo hanging out with 2 horses. So random!

 St Patricks Day was on Sunday so we remembered to try and wear Green to church and the kids got these really cute candy rainbows from primary. They were pretty excited!

 After church we went on a little walk/hike in Castle Rock, about 10 minutes away. It was fun to explore but kind of windy and chilly so we didn't last too long. We love the weekends when Dad is home to play with us!

Guy tried out skiing for the first time and actually liked it :)

 Guy's brother Mike was here for a conference so they went up one day and had fun on the mountain.

Ty tried Skiing!!!

We took Ty out to a sledding hill by our house to try out skiing. The snow had really started to melt so it was kind of crappy snow, but it still worked. He instantly loved it and we are hoping we can take him up to a bunny hill sometime this winter. We found the WeeSki harness on Craigslist and it turned out to be really helpful! So proud of my buddy for being brave and trying something new.

Ty informed all of us after that what he did was called lava skiing and he was just showing us how to do it. Haha I love his imagination. It keeps us laughing constantly.
