Florida Snow

 Hanging out with beebs
Yay the double chin has arrived!
 We have a smiler!
Bath time has finally become an enjoyable experience. No more crying!
We headed back to Celebration in Orlando to play in some Florida snow, which is basically like foamy bubble stuff.  Haha, we do what we can here :)
Funny story about these fountains.  They would randomly shoot up and then go down and a bunch of kids would quickly run across when they went down to try to beat the water.  So of course, my boys decided to join in and had fun doing it too.  That is until Brady ran across and hesitated in the middle just long enough to not be able to get out when the water came back up. He was stuck in the middle and he got soaked! The best part is we got it all on video! So we left pretty quickly after that and he had to ride all the way back to Tampa with no clothes on wrapped in a blanket.  Now I think I will start keeping extra clothes for my kids in the car!!

CHRISTMAS in FL

Sleepy boys! Guy and I are like little kids and woke up way before them because we were so excited. Haha! Eventually we decided to go wake them up because we couldn't wait any longer...granted it was around 8 and we had to be at church at 10!
They were pretty excited though once we woke them up.  We asked them each a Christmas question (tradition my dad used to do when I was little) and made them line up to go into the family room where Santa had come. Guy gave them easy questions this year. Ty was asked who the reindeer is with the red nose and BB was asked what Santa's wife's name. And then he asked both of them what the true meaning of Christmas was. Glad they got all their questions right :)
Looks like Santa was here! He left behind a few things like a reindeer bell outside by the reindeer food, a glove, a button and a piece of his jacket.  And we even found some "snow" footprints from his boots and one of his reindeer on our back porch coming into our house.  The boys were going crazy with all these great clues that he was here.  We sent the pieces he left behind back to the North Pole with Elfie and Randall the next day so Santa could have them back :)

All of our piles from Santa....
I love the excited faces of Christmas morning. I think Guy and I smiled the whole time!

We did our presents from Santa before church and then after we got back we opened all the ones under our tree. BB was all about opening a present and getting on to the next one, but Ty would open one and then want to play with it first so we just let him. It was fun because it made Christmas last all day. We just took our sweet time :)
Ty was the only one who didn't want to change back into jammies after church. Silly boy!

Brady made Guy a plate at school and he was SO excited for him to open it. Pretty cute!
Watching new Christmas movies together
What a wonderful Christmas it was. I love the magic of this time of year and this is definitely one I will never forget!

Christmas Eve 2011

This was our first year celebrating Christmas all by ourselves.  It was kind of weird at first since we have literally had Christmas with either one of our families since we got married, but it was fun to start some traditions of our own!
On Christmas eve we decorated our cookies for Santa
And then took a walk around our neighborhood and looked at all the lights.  I must say I love the Florida winters!
Then we came home and we all opened up new jammies
And attempted a brothers picture :)
The boys hung up their Christmas ornaments they picked out for this year on the tree
And opened another surprise....pillow pets!
BB named his penguin slippery and Ty named his turtle speedy.
Then we took 5 million pictures in front of our tree in our jammies :)
The boys loved taking Silly pictures. Those were the only ones Ty would cooperate for!

Our pajamas ended up being too hot for FL so we had to turn on our a/c for a bit so we could actually wear them! It was pretty funny!
Aw, I love this reindeer bum!
We read the polar express and Twas the night before Christmas
And acted out the nativity.
We were glad to have a real baby Jesus this year :)
We made sure to feed the reindeer our reindeer food that we made (oats and glitter)
And left out our cookies for Santa. Brayden insisted on leaving him chocolate milk this year because he knew Santa would love it and he thinks Santa probably gets sick of drinking white milk all night. Haha, so true BB!  And then we sent 2 very excited boys off to bed to "try" to go to sleep so Santa would come :)  It was a perfect Christmas eve in my book!
