SNUGGIE

I don't know why I think Brayden and his batman snuggie is so cute. It even ties in the back so it will stay on. Adorable :)

New Years Eve FIREWORKS!!!

The most amazing fireworks I have ever seen...in my WHOLE life! We were in awe! The show started 10 minutes before midnight and they did an awesome show to lots of disney songs. The cool part was the same show they did behind the castle they also simultaneously did behind the train station. Very cool! And then they counted down to the new year with number fireworks. So a big 10, 9, 8... shot up in the sky. And then the fireworks went crazy. Like literally all around us in every direction. We were in the middle in front of the castle and they went off in every single direction. It was so magical and amazing and really words can't even describe it. You just had to be there! Guy and I were just in awe the whole time and Brayden even stayed up until the show. Tyler fell asleep around 10 but woke up when they started going off. He was adorable through the show and loved it. I'm so glad he wasn't scared of them. We met a really cool family in front of us from Canada so it was fun to chat with them while we waited. This was definitely the best new years ever! I don't think we'll ever be able to top it!
Here's to 2011!

New Years Eve Day :)

We braved the crocwds and went to Magic Kingdom for New Years eve. It was super crowded...the park filled to capacity by 10 AM but it was SOOO worth it. This was truly the best new years we have ever had. Seriously a once in a lifetime experience! We got to see the Christmas parade that they do during the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party event that they do in December. It was so cute!
Getting a high five from Jimney Cricket
SANTA
They decorated the mickey and minnie with red and white flowers. SO cute!
We have a rule that we aren't allowed to buy anything when we go to Disney but we made an exception on New Years and let Brayden have a chocolate covered mickey chocolate. He was in heaven. He has asked for it every time we have gone so it was fun to surprise him with it.
Eating lunch...we wore him out and he fell asleep at the table! lol
They gave out new years hats and noisemakers.
And of course the Christmas show they put on in front of the castle
Goofy Santa
We basically were able to ride a ton of rides in the morning before the crowds got ridiculous. At around 4 we just found a spot to sit for fireworks and hung out there. It sounds long, but it went by really fast. They had pretty constant parades and shows going on so we were entertained the whole time.

Guy and Allison's Birthdays

Guy turned the big 28 in December and I turned 26 in January. We kept both our birthdays very low key and just celebrated them as a family. Here are the boys and I decorating the house for when Guy got home from work.
Tyler was in heaven with all of the balloons
And running through these streamers. He probably did that 100 times...or more!
Here's just a random quick picture of Elfie I took. He was a bit hit this year and even Tyler caught on to looking for him every morning. He would run around saying, "Where Effie?" And when we would find him he would laugh like crazy. It was pretty funny!
The rest of the decorations. I hate to say this but I didn't even get the camera out when we actually celebrated Guy's birthday. Isn't that awful. So I have no pictures to document the big birthday boy on his big day. But he did like the decorations and we did have fun celebrating. It's funny because he already thought he was 28 so it was no big deal to him. Haha, he always thinks he's a year older then he is. It's a good thing he has me to keep it straight for him!
Brayden had the idea of making a streamer maze upstairs. He did it all by himself and it kept him occupied forever. I love when kids come up with ideas like this!
And this just makes me laugh! Tyler wanted the balloon up his shirt so bad but it wouldn't stay. His belly is too big and his shirt was too small with no stretch in it. So this was the best we could do and he tried to keep it in there as long as he could.
For my birthday, we kept it low key as well. This is the cake Brayden frosted for me all by himself. He did such a good job. And we only had 5 of these kind of candles left (the one's where the flame turns the same color as the candlestick.) So I turned 5 again this year and I thought it was fitting since I feel like I'm 5 every time we got to Disney World. I've reverted back to that age a lot since we moved to Florida!
Brayden helped me blow out the candles. And I love that he wore his batman snuggie around all evening on my birthday. It was so stinkin cute!
I think he liked the cake!
