Dallas Blooms

I took my boys to the Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum and let me just say, it was amazing! If I was a millionaire I would make sure my backyard looked just like this place all the time! I thought of my mom the whole time I was there and how much she would love it because she loves gardening and flowers. So I took a million pictures for her which was easy to do because pretty much every direction you turned was a gorgeous view! So be prepared to see a bazillion pictures on here but thats no surprise because I always do that!
Brayden loved running around the gardens while Tyler preferred eating the dirt every chance he got. Seriously if I looked away for one minute he would stuff some in really quick. And I knew he had some in there because he would give me this look like "what?" Hilarious! Oh well, a little dirt never hurt anyone, right!!
What are these things??
This is him sulking after I took away dirt!
The best part was Guy joined us on his lunch break at work. (FYI: You can get a buy one get one free coupon at any capital one bank). We had a picnic with him on the grass and went to see Ferdinand the bull. I need to check that book out of the library so I can read it to Brayden because its a good one. The boys got their picture taken with a bunny for easter
And we forced them to take some pictures with us even though we weren't as coolYep, Smells good :)
On Mondays and Tuesdays it is mommy and me days so they have a bunch of kid activites there. They had free face painting but the line was too long so I told Brayden no. But as we were getting ready to go, we walked past and the line was really short so I gave in and let him.
And so he became Brayden, the tiger! It actually turned out really cool and I could not stop laughing at how much it changed his personality. He would only speak in a "scary" voice and would growl and roar at the end of every sentence. I could tell he thought he was so cool! He was so paranoid that he was going to mess it up though and would ask me every 5 seconds if it was still on there which eventually drove me insane. Guy left to go back to work before we did this so Brayden was very excited to show him when he got home.
But the best part was at home when I would catch him in the bathroom just staring at himself and making faces in the mirror. He is a crack up. When it came time to wash it off, I was only allowed to wash off half so he could be a half tiger and half brayden. Playing tigers (well thats what brayden is doing, Ty's just crawling like he always does!!)
And below is how you know you had a successful and fun day!

Max is in love with Brayden, he loves to look at your blog and he ESPECIALLY loved the tiger face pictures...all he has been saying over and over since he saw them was that he needs a spiderman face now....those two could be very scary together!

The tulip festival is later this month here. I'm totally going to take the kids. I'll cross my fingers for some face painting. That's hilarious!
